Day 1:Arrive at Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
Our representative will meet at the arrival gate with a signboard for Mandala Holidays. Then you will be escorted to your selected hotel. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2:Sightseeing of cultural UNESCO world heritage sites around Kathmandu
Today is the auspicious day of our tour. We visit some of the cultural UNESCO world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley. Swayambhu, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudha and Pashupatinath would be our touring destinations today. These heritages are the live reflector of the religious integrity and architectural wealth of Nepal. After the time you will get brief about the tour. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3:Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,850 m) and Trek to Monjo (2,820 m)
Today our representative will escort you to the Airport for your flight to Lukla. It will be a 25-minute flight more like a mountain flight with a view of many mesmerizing mountains. Upon arrival in Lukla, it is a 4 hours trek along the Dudh Kosi Valley. The trail, lined with blue pine forest, follows the river valley and is especially spectacular in spring when the rhododendron flowers are bright in bloom. Cross the Dudh Kosi River at Benkar, and look way up above 6,000 metres to see the peaks of snow-capped Kusum Kanguru (6369m) and Thamserku (6623m). Press on to Monjo (2835m) where you will rest for the night.
Day 4:Trek from Monjo to Namche Bazaar (3,640 m)
On this day, You will be starting your trek after breakfast continuing along the Dudh Kosi (river), you will enter Sagarmatha National Park (showing or buying your entrance ticket and registering your TIMS card). You will have your first altitude jump so you need to take it easy. The walk starts to get a little tougher, with a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar where you will get the first view of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse from Toop dada. Your accommodation will be at Namche for the night.
Day 5:Namche Acclimatization day (3,640 m)
Today is your acclimatization day at Namche, you will hike up to Syangboche Airport (3,748 m) and Hotel Everest View (3,880 m) from where you will get the view of Ama Dablam, Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse with some good Coffee. You can also visit the Sherpa Museum at Namche. Rest day at Namche.
Day 6:Trek from Namche to Deboche (3,740 m)
After a heavy breakfast, your walk starts for Deboche. You will cross 3 suspension bridges on your way with the view of Ama Dablam and the trail offers amazing insight into the life and culture of the sherpas. On your way, you will visit the famous Tengboche Monastery and downhill to Deboche where you will rest for the night.
Day 7:Trek from Deboche to Dingboche (4,410m)
The trek today will take around five to six hours of walking with a fair bit of height gain. Deboche is at 3710m and Dingboche is at 4410m so walk slowly and let your body acclimatize. You are starting to get quite high now so it is possible you may get a very slight headache when you arrive in Dingboche if you take things too fast. After heading down from Pangboche you will stop in Shomare for lunch and then continue on for Dingboche. Enjoy your evening in Dingboche.
Day 8:Acclimatization day at Dingboche
Today will be your rest day at Dingboche. You have gained a lot of height today and it’s important to allow your body to catch up. So perhaps a short walk in the direction of Island Peak base camp might be what you fancy or you can hike up to the Nankardzong peak from where you can get a glimpse of Cho La Lake, Ama Dablam Base Camp, Mount Makalu and its glacier, Island Peak and other beautiful peaks. After returning from the hike you will have your lunch and you can roam around the place for the rest of the day or play cards with your team. Overnight at Dingboche.
Day 9:Trek to Lobuche (4,910m)
Time to trek to another destination! We walk through the glacial path on the famous Khumbu glacier today towards Lobuche as our destination for the day. You will have to cross Thukla Pass and also a memorial for the fallen Everest climbers. You can take a break at the memorial for some moment. The landscape changes drastically and the wilderness grows to a more peaceful and magnificent one. We will walk through the trail that’s filled with huge boulders and moraine. We will certainly feel the oxygen level going thinner and thinner as we trek further higher. Slowly but ultimately, we will make it to Lobuche to stay overnight. The beautiful surroundings of Lobuche help us feel better after we check into the guest house.
Day 10:Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakshep
Today is the most important day of the entire trip. You will be starting your trip early at 4 am as you will need to reach Base camp early as problems from high winds occur in the afternoon. It will take you around 3-4 hours to reach Gorakshep where you will have your Lunch and after that, you will carry on your journey towards Everest Base Camp (5,364 m). You will cross some difficult rocks with sights of some crevasses. You can take some pictures at the Everest Base Camp which you can cherish for the rest of your life and be proud of the accomplishment. After some moment you will return to Gorakshep, where you will rest for the night.
Day 11:Early Morning Hike to Kalapatthar (5,643m) and Trek to Pheriche
Although every day of the adventure trek to the Kalapatthar is exciting, we are due another incredibly exciting moment of the trip. The early morning hiking trip to the Kalapatthar viewpoint is what we are looking forward to early in the morning. Our early morning effort to hike to the highest elevation of the trek is worth going for. The panoramic view of Mt. Everest and other mountains in the surroundings is simply breathtaking. We will also get to enjoy a joyous sunrise experience over the mountains.
Later, we will be returning to Pheriche today. From today onwards you will be returning downwards. Pheriche is a beautiful village separated from Dingboche by a hill. It will take you around 7 hours to reach Pheriche. You will have your lunch at Lobuche and continue your journey towards Pheriche. Overnight at Pheriche.
Day 12:Trek from Pheriche to Namche
The trek from Pheriche to Namche is comparatively longer as compared to other trekking days. You will be getting the last glimpses of Mount Everest. We will be having our lunch at Fungethanga and continue our walk towards Namche which will take you around 8 hours. Upon reaching Namche you can go on a walk at the beautiful Namche Bazar and also can enjoy at some beautiful Pubs and Bars. Overnight at Namche.
Day 13:Trek from Namche to Lukla
Today is the last day of your trek. After having breakfast you will start your trek towards Namche. We will be having our lunch at Phakding. Also, the very last glimpse of Mount Everest can be seen from Toph Danda. You will be walking for 6-7 hours today. Upon reaching Lukla you can enjoy and explore the Bazar area of Lukla and buy some Souvenirs. Overnight at Lukla.
Day 14:Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you will be getting ready for your flight towards Kathmandu. You can bid your final farewell to the Khumbu region. After finishing the departure formalities you will board the flight. The flight will take you to Kathmandu in 25-30 minutes. Upon reaching Kathmandu you will be escorted to your Hotel. In the evening our office representative will come to pick you at your hotel for your Farewell Dinner at a Nepali Restaurant.
Day 15:Final Departue from Kathmandu
Our office representative will escort you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your International Departure. If you prefer to stay longer, you can go for short tours such as jungle safari at National parks, rafting, mountain biking etc.
