Helambu Circuit Trek is only a short drive from Kathmandu and very good experience of culture, people, tradition, mountains and enough adventure too. We start this trek from Sundarijal, only 20 km far from Thamel or Nagarkot 40 km far from Kathmandu or from Melamchi Bazaar. Located northeast of Kathmandu, it extends from north of Taramarang to the tree limit of the Gosainkunda Lake and lower slopes of Jugal Himal. It is truly an ideal trip for the trekkers who have short vacations and want to explore to combine both culture and scene, this trek provides stunning passes of cascading terraces, Tamang and Sherpa villages, Buddhist Gompas and the fantastic landscape with rice fields also the beautiful alpine valley meadows, rhododendron (The national flower of Nepal) and spectacular mountain views along the way. The Helambu Trek is a very pleasant and an easy trek as the altitude is not high compare to other trek as the elevation range would be between 800m to 3600m.
