Itinerary

Namaste & welcome to Mandala Holidays! Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a representative from Mandala Holidays. After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggage and look for our representative with a Mandala Holidays display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to the Hotel. A briefing will be held in the evening regarding the Trek. (Overnight at hotel)

Today we leave early for Pokhara, It is a 5-6 hours scenic drive from Kathmandu. Upon reaching Pokhara, you then headed towards Kande which takes 1 hour to reach from Pokhara. We then start hiking up to the Australian Camp (2,060m) for an hour and a half which will be our destination for the day. In the evening we will have a meditation session by the instructor. Today we start our day with a classical yoga session. upon finishing the session we take our breakfast with sunrise view, we start our journey. Our trail passes through a quiet wooded area along a ridge that starts to descend after halfway. After a while, the trail starts gaining height rejoining the earlier ridge and continues till we reach Forest Camp. After reaching our stopover for the night, we explore the area which will be followed by a well-earned rest. In the evening we will have a meditation session by the instructor which will consist of Yoga Nidra (sleep) and guided meditation. Overnight at Tea House

Today’s target is High Camp, located at an elevation of 3,700m. We will continue with the morning Yoga session and move towards High Camp. The pathway is quite exciting as it passes through dense rhododendron forest and within the forest you can encounter flocks of Daphne or Lophophorus, the national bird of Nepal which belongs to the Pheasant family. Additionally, the marvellous view of mountains peaks. High Camp possesses hotels that are well facilitated. In the evening, our session starts with a spiritual philosophy and some guided meditation Overnight at Tea house.

The final destination of our trip is Mardi Base Camp, located at a height of 4,500m. After a delightful breakfast, we hike 5 hours to reach Mardi Base Camp which is a beautiful viewpoint that provides a glimpse of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhree, Himchuli, and other smaller hills. We will hold a brief Yoga session in the Mardi View Point in front of these humongous mountains then head on to Mardi Base camp.
Enjoy the cool breeze that cools and refreshes your entire mind, body, and soul. Breathtaking scene of landscapes, forests, rivers, and valleys gives inner peace and happiness. After exploring the base camp, we make a downhill walk to Badal Danda. In the evening, our session starts with a spiritual philosophy and some guided meditation. Overnight at Tea house.

We will continue with the morning Yoga session and move towards Sidhing. After breakfast with a sunrise view, we start our journey. We make a downhill walk to Siding (1,700m). And, trails to Siding is quite slippery so required extra awareness while walking. We then have a short trek to Lumre crossing beautiful Tamang and Gurung villages of Kalimati and Ghale. From Sidhing, we head back to Pokhara on a private vehicle and drop at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Enjoy a free day in Pokhara to unwind, relax, and give those muscles a rest after all that trekking. Your leader can advise you of sightseeing opportunities. It is worth taking a boat for a row out on the lake, especially if the weather’s fine. The lakeside area has great shopping opportunities and internet cafes. Pokhara has an interesting old area as well as an elaborate Hindu temple and a Buddhist monastery. Perhaps visit the Peace Pagoda, where spectacular views of the mountains await. You can see the Annapurnas from here, and the famous fishtail peak, Machhapuchhare, and back across to Pokhara. You will also visit the fascinating International Mountain Museum to learn some amazing tales of past climbing expeditions. After finishing sightseeing we drive to Begnas for a cool experience in the Lakeside. We will have our last meditation session in the Lakeside of Begnas with some special dinner with the Team. After a brief meditation session, we now head back to Kathmandu. We will have our breakfast, pack our bags and leave for Kathmandu. It will be 5-6 hours scenic drive. The rest of the day is free for your personal activities. Overnight at Hotel.

At about 3 hours prior to your flight time, we will escort you to the airport to fly to your onward destination. Mandala Holidays family wishes you the best time ahead. If you prefer to stay longer, you can go for short tours such as jungle safari at National parks, rafting, mountain biking etc.
