On your second day you will be taking a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara that takes around 7-8 hours. You will start from Kathmandu, heading out through the bustling city streets before joining the Prithvi Highway, which connects the capital to Pokhara. The road winds through the picturesque landscape of central Nepal, offering a captivating view of the diverse terrain. As you travel, you will pass through charming rural villages, terraced fields, and lush green hills. The route often follows the course of the Trishuli River, providing beautiful river views and opportunities to glimpse traditional life in the region. En-route Lunch. Upon reaching Pokhara, you will arrive at a vibrant lakeside city known for its stunning natural beauty, relaxed atmosphere, and a gateway to further adventures in the Annapurna region.

Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Matque, passing through beautiful countryside, terraced fields, and traditional villages. From Matque, start your trek along a gradual trail through forests and settlements, reaching Jhinu Danda, famous for its natural hot springs beside the Modi River. After a short rest, continue trekking uphill through stone steps and scenic landscapes to reach Chhomrong, a beautiful Gurung village offering stunning views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre. Overnight stay in Chhomrong.

After breakfast, begin your trek descending via stone steps to the Chhomrong Khola, then cross a suspension bridge and gradually ascend through lush forests of bamboo, rhododendron, and oak. Pass through small settlements such as Sinuwa and Bamboo, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and scenic river valley. The trail continues with gentle ascents and forested paths before reaching Dovan, a quiet riverside stop surrounded by dense forest and towering cliffs. Overnight stay in Dovan

After breakfast, continue your trek through peaceful bamboo and rhododendron forests, following the Modi Khola upstream. The trail gradually ascends, passing through the Himalayan Hotel and offering beautiful views of waterfalls and steep valley walls. As you gain elevation, the landscape becomes more alpine and open. The trail then leads to Deurali, a scenic settlement surrounded by dramatic cliffs and mountain scenery, marking your entry closer to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Overnight stay in Deurali.

After an early breakfast, you will begin your scenic trek toward Annapurna Base Camp. As you ascend beyond Deurali, the valley gradually opens up and the trail becomes less steep. You will walk along stone staircases, eventually passing through a section historically known for avalanche risks. Please be cautious and avoid lingering in this area. Proceed mindfully until you reach a safer zone. As the trail continues, the majestic snowcapped peaks come into even clearer view. Upon reaching Machhapuchhre Base Camp, the path gently turns left along the valley. Although the air becomes thinner at this altitude, the walk is relatively pleasant—just remember to pace yourself and breathe steadily. Finally, you will arrive at Annapurna Base Camp, where you are rewarded with an extraordinary 360° panorama of the Himalayas. Surrounded by towering giants such as Annapurna I (8,091 m), Annapurna South (7,219 m), Machhapuchhre (6,997 m), and several other peaks, this moment offers a truly awe-inspiring and unforgettable experience.

After enjoying a memorable sunrise and mountain views at Annapurna Base Camp, begin your descent following the same trail down through the Annapurna Sanctuary. Pass through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, and Himalayan Hotels, retracing your steps along the Modi Khola valley. Enjoy the changing scenery as alpine terrain gradually transitions into lush bamboo and rhododendron forests. Continue descending to reach Dovan, a peaceful riverside stop surrounded by dense forest. Overnight stay at lodge in Dovan.

After breakfast, begin your final day of trekking descending through bamboo and rhododendron forests, passing Bamboo, Sinuwa, and Chhomrong. Continue downhill toward Jhinu Danda and follow the scenic trail to Matque. Upon arrival at Matque, meet your vehicle and enjoy a comfortable drive back to Pokhara. This marks the end of your trekking adventure, with time to relax and celebrate your achievement.

Today, you will begin your return journey to Kathmandu from the serene lakeside city of Pokhara. This scenic drive is more than just a transition between destinations—it’s an opportunity to reflect on the memorable moments and adventures you've experienced throughout your time in Nepal. As the road winds through picturesque landscapes of terraced hillsides, verdant valleys, and along the rushing waters of the Trishuli River, you will enjoy the natural beauty one last time.
