Tour Itinerary

Our representative will meet you at the arrival gate with a signboard for Mandala Holidays. Then you will be escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure and in the evening, our company representatives will visit you for the final briefing of the tour.

Today we will drive from your hotel to Kathmandu Durbar Square also known as Basantapur. It is located in heart of Kathmandu city known for its bustling market and rich cultural heritage. Basantapur is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and serves as a focal point for both locals and tourists. Then after we will move towards Swayambhunath. Located at top of hill west of Kathmandu city, Swayambhunath offers stunning panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding Himalayan range. At last we will head towards Patan Durbar Square. The heart of Patan is its Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the focal point of the city's architectural splendor. Patan is also famous for its traditional craftsmanship, particularly in metalwork and woodcarving. From there you will be transferred to Nagarkot a popular hill station for overnight.

Today, we will start our day early with a breathtaking sunrise view from Nagarkot, offering panoramic vistas of the Himalayas. After enjoying the serene morning, we will have breakfast and proceed to Changu Narayan, one of the oldest and most significant Hindu temples in Nepal. After exploring the temple and its surroundings, we will continue with Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a historic city that boast its medieval charm. While exploring Bhaktapur, we will also visit the famous Pottery Square, where artisans shape clay into beautiful traditional pottery using centuries-old techniques. We can witness the pottery-making process and even try their hand at crafting their own clay masterpiece.

Next, we will head to Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism. This ancient stupa, surrounded by colorful prayer flags, monasteries, and Tibetan handicraft shops, creating a vibrant and peaceful ambiance. After immersing ourselves in the Tibetan culture, we will continue our journey to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples in the world. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, this revered UNESCO site holds deep religious and cultural significance, offering a glimpse into Nepal’s spiritual heritage.

Today, we will be driving from Kathmandu to Chitwan. It’s a 5-6 hours long journey that takes you from the bustling capital city of Nepal through diverse landscapes to the lush plains of the Terai region where Chitwan National Park is located. Upon arrival in Chitwan, take some time to relax before immersing yourself in the Tharu Cultural Dance in the evening. The Tharu people, the indigenous community of Chitwan, and they will showcase their unique traditions through rhythmic dances and folk music, offering an insightful glimpse into their rich cultural heritage.

Today is dedicated to exploring the rich biodiversity of Chitwan National Park. Begin your day with a serene canoe ride along the Rapti River, where you can spot various bird species, marsh mugger crocodiles, and the rare gharial crocodiles basking on the riverbanks. Next, visit the Elephant Breeding Centre, where you can learn about the conservation efforts for these gentle giants and observe baby elephants interacting with their mothers. Continue to the Crocodile Breeding Centre, which plays a crucial role in the conservation of endangered gharial crocodiles, providing insight into their life cycle and habitat.

After lunch, set out for an exciting jungle safari, by jeep. As you venture deep into the lush forests and grasslands of Chitwan National Park, keep an eye out for diverse wildlife, including the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, deer, wild boars, langurs, and, if you're lucky, the rare Bengal tiger. End the day by soaking in the tranquility of the jungle, reflecting on the incredible wildlife encounters before returning to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Today, we will embark on a scenic drive toward Pokhara, a journey of approximately 5–6 hours. As we leave Chitwan, the landscape gradually transitions from the flat Terai plains to the rolling hills of central Nepal, offering breathtaking views along the way. Passing through small towns and villages, you will get a glimpse of local life, traditional Nepali architecture, and vibrant marketplaces. En route, we will stop at the picturesque hilltop town of Bandipur for lunch. Known for its well-preserved Newari culture, charming cobbled streets, and stunning mountain vistas, Bandipur offers a delightful break before continuing our journey. Upon reaching Pokhara, you will start with boating in Phewa Lake against the backdrop of Machhapuchre and Annapurna. Rest of your evening is leisure, so you can explore Pokhara at your own Pace.

Today, we will explore some of Pokhara’s most popular tourist attractions. Our journey begins at Davis Falls, a breathtaking waterfall that originates from Phewa Lake and plunges into a deep gorge before disappearing into underground tunnels, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Just across from Davis Falls, we will visit the Gupteshwor Cave, a sacred underground cave known for its stunning rock formations and a revered Shiva temple hidden within its depths. Next, we will head to the World Peace Pagoda, a serene Buddhist monument perched on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, including Phewa Lake and the Annapurna range. A visit to Pumdikot, home to the tallest Shiva statue in Nepal, will provide another breathtaking vantage point to admire the Himalayan peaks and Pokhara Valley.

We will also visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp, where you can learn about the rich culture and traditions of Tibetan refugees, explore their handicraft markets, and gain insight into their daily lives. Lastly, we will explore the International Mountain Museum, which showcases Nepal's mountaineering history, the diverse culture of Himalayan communities, and fascinating exhibits on the world’s highest peaks and legendary climbers.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, covering approximately 200 km along the Prithvi Highway. The journey takes around 7-8 hours, passing through lush green hills, terraced farmlands, and charming roadside villages. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Trishuli River, where you might spot rafters navigating thrilling rapids. After reaching Kathmandu Check-in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing night in Kathmandu.

Start your day with a fascinating Spice Tour in Itumbahal, one of the oldest and most culturally significant neighborhoods in Kathmandu. Itumbahal is known for its rich Newar heritage and vibrant spice markets, where you can explore a variety of locally sourced spices such as turmeric, cumin, cardamom, and saffron. You can learn about their culinary and medicinal uses, as well as their significance in Nepalese cuisine and traditional healing practices.

After the spice tour, enjoy a shopping day in Kathmandu. Visit bustling marketplaces like Asan, Indra Chowk, and Thamel, where you can shop for souvenirs, traditional handicrafts, Pashmina shawls, Thangka paintings, and local handmade jewelry. You may also explore high-end boutiques for premium Nepalese products. End the day with a relaxing stroll through the vibrant streets, soaking in the lively atmosphere and indulging in some authentic Nepalese cuisine.

It's your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu. We will make sure you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty time before your flight home. At this time, we will say our goodbyes and bid you farewell, armed with warm memories and gorgeous photos to show your loved ones.
