Today you will have to check out early, our representative will escort you to Ramechaap (Manthali Airport) for your flight to Lukla. The drive will take you around 3-4 hours and it will be a 20-25 minute flight more like a mountain flight with a view of many mesmerizing mountains. Upon arrival in Lukla, it is a 3-hour trek along the Dudh Kosi Valley. The trail lined with blue pine forest, follows the river valley and is especially spectacular in spring when the rhododendron flowers are bright in bloom. Cross the Dudh Kosi River at Benkar, and look way up above 6,000 metres to see the peaks of snow-capped Kusum Kanguru (6369m) and Thamserku (6623m). Then after you will reach Phakding (2610m) for a well-deserved rest. (Overnight in Teahouse).
Today, you will begin your trek after breakfast, following the Dudh Koshi River as you enter Sagarmatha National Park. Make sure to show your entrance ticket and register your Trek card. As you make your way, you will experience your first significant altitude gain, so take it slow and steady. The trek will become more challenging with a steep climb up to Namche Bazaar. Along the way, you will catch your first glimpse of Mount Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse from Toph Danda. You will spend the night in Namche Bazaar, where you will have the chance to rest and acclimate. (Overnight in Teahouse).
Today is your acclimatization day at Namche. You will hike up to Syangboche Airport (3,748 m) and Hotel Everest View (3,880 m). From these points, soak in the awe-inspiring vistas of Ama Dablam, Mount Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse all while savoring a comforting cup of coffee. During your stay in Namche, you can also explore the Sherpa Museum, immersing yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the Sherpa community. It's a day to rest and acclimate, taking in the breathtaking scenery and cultural insights that Namche has to offer. (Overnight in Teahouse).
Today’s trek will take us toward Tengboche. You will start by trekking along the ridge before descending to the Dudh Koshi River at Phunkithang. Tengboche is home to the largest monastery in the Khumbu region, and upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore this impressive monastery. Additionally, you will enjoy stunning views of Mount Ama Dablam (6,853 meters), renowned for its striking beauty. (Overnight in teahouse).
The trek today will take around five to six hours of walking with a fair bit of height gain. Tengboche is at 3860m and Dingboche is at 4410m so walk slowly and let your body acclimatize. As you are gaining significant altitude, you might experience a mild headache upon reaching Dingboche if you push yourself too hard. After descending from Pangboche, you will pause in Shomare for lunch before continuing on to Dingboche. (Overnight in Teahouse).
Today will be your rest day at Dingboche. You have gained a lot of height till this day and it’s important to allow your body to catch up. So perhaps a short walk in the direction of Island Peak base camp might be what you fancy or you can hike up to the Nankardzong peak from where you can get a glimpse of Cho La Lake, Ama Dablam Base Camp, Mount Makalu and its glacier, Island Peak and other beautiful peaks. After returning from the hike you will have your lunch and you can roam around the place for the rest of the day or take rest.
Today its time to trek to another destination. You walk through the glacial path on the famous Khumbu glacier today towards Lobuche as your final destination for the day. You will have to cross Thukla Pass and also a memorial for the fallen Everest climbers. You can take a break at the memorial for some moment and continue walking. The landscape changes drastically and the wilderness grows to a more peaceful and magnificent one. You will walk through the trail that is filled with huge boulders and moraine. You will certainly feel the oxygen level going thinner and thinner as you trek further higher. Slowly but ultimately, you will make it to Lobuche.
Today is the most important day of the entire trek. You will be starting your trek early at 4 am as you will need to reach Base camp as early as possible since problems from high winds occur in the afternoon. It will take us around 3-4 hours to reach Gorakshep where you will have your Lunch and after that, you will carry on with your journey towards Everest Base Camp (5,364 m). You will cross some difficult rocks with sights of some crevasses. You can take some pictures at the Everest Base Camp, which you can cherish for the rest of your life and be proud of the accomplishment. After some moment, you will return to Gorakshep, where you will rest for the night.
Although every day of the trek to the Everest Base Camp is exciting, you are due with another incredibly exciting moment of the trip. Early in the morning, you will hike to the Kalapatthar viewpoint. Your early morning effort to hike to the highest elevation (5,644m) of the trek is worth going for. The panoramic view of Mt. Everest and other mountains in the surroundings is simply breathtaking. You will also get to enjoy a joyous sunrise experience over the mountains. You will have lunch on the way to Dzongla. Later, you will be returning to Dzongla and have dinner and enjoy the evening.
Today after breakfast, you will start your trek towards Thagnak. The trail of the trek takes us through the diverse landscapes of the region including cliffs, meadows, valleys, hills, lakes etc. You can also observe the golden Himlayan sunrise overlooking the Cho Oyu and other snow-capped mountains. You will ascend along the route to arrive at Cho La Pass from this point of the trek. This route section is quite challenging as you will pass through demanding terrains. There are mesmerizing glaciers, rivers, waterfalls, etc., along the route. After trekking for around 5-6 hours, you will finally arrive at Thangnak.
Today, You will set out toward the lakes at Gokyo. Your route follows a river flowing from the west side of the Ngozumpa Glacier. You will climb a gradual rocky incline into the valley alongside the glacier, passing the first of the sacred lake. As you continue, you will reach the second lake and cross the path that leads to Cho La. The third lake, known as Dudh Pokhari, where you will find the settlement of Gokyo. Strolling along the lake’s edge, you will be treated to breathtaking views, with the peaks of Cho Oyu and Gyachung Kang beautifully reflected in its emerald-green water.
Today, you will get up early for a couple of hours climb up to Gokyo RI, which has one of the best panoramas in the Khumbu region. It’s a straightforward but steep climb, and it can be tiring due to the altitude. you can enjoy four 8,000 meter-plus peaks – Everest (8848m), Cho-Oyo (8153m), Lhotse (8511m), and Makalu (8481m) – and spot countless other towering peaks including Gyachung Kang (7922m) to the east of Cho-Oyo, Cholatse (6440m), Taweche (6542m) and Kangchung (6103m). There’s also a bird's eye view of the Gokyo lakes and the huge creaking Ngozumpa Glacier, now cutting halfway across the world and snaking its way down the valley far beneath. . You will descend back to Gokyo for a late breakfast and then retrace your steps back to the snout of the glacier and continue down the valley back to Machhermo.
Today, you will begin by trekking downhill to Phortse Thanga, following a trail that winds through lush rhododendron forests. From there, the path climbs steeply up to Mongla Danda before descending to Khumjung Village, situated at 3,790 meters. After navigating some ups and downs along the way, you will eventually make your way back to Namche Bazaar.
Today is the last day of your trek. After having breakfast you will start your trek towards Lukla. You will be having your lunch at Phakding. Along the way, you will catch one last view of Mount Everest from Toph Danda. you will be walking for 6-7 hour today.
