We have to begin very early today as we need to go a long drive to arrive at our trek starting point. After breakfast, we leave Kathmandu at around 7:00 am and nearly after a 7-8 hours drive we reach Besishahar. Enrooted we see more of the countryside of Nepal that offers granaries, rivers, villages, farms and beautiful mountain scenarios. However, the condition of the road is not equally fine in all portions of our drive today. Approx 185 Km driving to Besisahar from Kathmandu. (Overnight at Besisahar).

Today, our day begins with drive to Chame, a village in the Manang district. The drive from Besisahar to Chame is a scenic and adventurous journey through the Annapurna region of Nepal.  Along the way, we will pass through picturesque villages such as Dharapani and Tal. The landscape changes dramatically as we gain altitude, with lush green forests giving way to more arid and rocky terrain. (Overnight at Chame).

Today we will start walking from Chame to Pisang. The day starts with walk through the deep forest in a steep and narrow valley crossing a river on a long bridge. We are greeted with the stunning view of Lamjung Himal (6893m), as well as the first sunrays reaching the majestic mountain. As we get closer, we can see a stunning waterfalls and along the way, we are treated to breathtaking vistas of Pisang's northeast peak and Annapurna II. (Overnight at Pisang).

On our fifth day of trek, we will be trekking on the upper trails through Upper Pisang via Geru, from where we can catch outstanding views of the north face of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho, and Pisang Peak. As the path ascends, the air turns cold, dry, and harsher. This trail goes through the Tibetan settlements, and we get a chance to explore Buddhist culture. You will find that the path is dotted with Buddhist shrines as we pass more monasteries and finally reach Manang Bazaar, where we will stay for overnight. (Overnight at Manang).

Today is the sixth day and we will trek to Yak Kharka that will reward us with more breathtaking views of the snow-covered Annapurna and Gangapurna. We can see the Blue sheep, yak, and Himalayan Tahr herds grazing on the scraggly bushes, alpine grass, and horseback riders rushing down the dusted pathways. A few stone and hardwood teahouses are there at Yak Kharka, as a former yak herder camp. (Overnight at Khangsar).

After breakfast, we will pass through several pastures and juniper forests. As our trek continues, we will pass through a small village called Gunsan that has houses made of flat mud roofs. You will also get to see yak and horse pastures. We will go along the new path to reach a high crest, and descend on switchbacks carved out through the scree slopes to a side valley of the main valley. On the other side of it is Tilicho lake Base Camp at elevation of 3900m. (Overnight at Tilicho Base Camp).

Today our journey start early in the morning to avoid the wind. From the Base camp to the Tilicho Lake, it takes another 3-4 hours. Tilicho Lake is a cold barren place and it is claimed as the highest lake in the world. The changing light causes the color of the lake to change through many shades of blue. After some time admiring the lake and surrounding peaks and snapping some photos/videos, we will return back to the hotel/lodge for the end of the day since there are no accommodation facilites in Tilicho Lake area. (Overnight at Tilicho Base Camp).

Today we will be descending down to Khangsar Village from the Base camp through the same route. Khangsar Village lies on the route to the main trail leading to the Thorong La Pass and the popular trekking destination of Manang. The trail is steep and challenging but it rewards you with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and the glacial lake itself. (Overnight at Khangsar Village).

Today we will head toward Yak Kharka, a small settlement situated along the trekking route towards Thorong La Pass in the Annapurna region. As soon as we get to Yak Kharka today, we will head back along the circuit trek path after a side visit to Tilicho lake. Then we will reach a plateau after some ascent, and after a short distance of walking we will arrive at Yak Kharka. (Overnight at Yak Kharka).

Today we will head to the foot of Thorong La pass, Thorong Phedi.  We will be climbing higher gradually and get used to the higher altitude. We will follow the east bank of the Jarang Khola and along with the trail view steep bluffs before reaching Thorong Phedi (meaning foothills). If we are lucky, we may see the famous blue sheep and even a snow leopard! This is also home to Lammergeyer (bearded vulture). There is also a belief the mythical griffons are in this region. (Overnight at Thorung Phedi).

Today is the longest and hardest day of the whole trip. We start our walk early in the morning with packed lunch and the trail becomes steepest initially and reaches high camp. Walk at your own pace viewing with sunrise and glimpse of the mountains. We continue walking to the top, It takes 3-4 hrs to the Throng top and with a great feeling of victory take a short break for picturesque scenery and down to the Mustang part of mountains and the Kaligandaki valley far below to the West. Finally, we made it to Muktinath after a 6-7 hrs long walk. (Overnight at Muktinath).

Today we will be driving from Muktinath to Pokhara. It will be a 6-7 hour long scenic drive along with beautiful mountain views. It will pass through beautiful settlements like Jomsom, Marpha, Tatopani and many more. Today you will be returning back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. It will be a scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. As we travel back, you will carry countless memories that will last lifetime. This marks the end of our journey filled together with lasting memories. (Overnight at Hotel).

It's your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu.
