The trek begins from Sikles, a traditional Gurung village known for its rich culture and stunning mountain views. As you ascend, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the Annapurna and Lamjung Himal ranges. Tour Itinerary

Namaste & welcome to Mandala Holidays! Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a representative from Mandala Holidays. After completing your custom formalities (Visa, security etc) pick up your luggage and look for our representative with a Mandala Holidays with Group leader's name display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to the Hotel. (Overnight at hotel)

Early in the morning we will be driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara via private vehicle (7-8 hours). We will cover the total distance of 210km from Kathmandu to Pokhara along the snaky highway. On our way, we can see the picturesque Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers along green and Rocky Mountains, rivers connecting each other and small springs too. Nestled between Phewa Lake and Begnas Lake, Pokhara offers breathtaking views of Annapurna, Machapuchare, Dhaulagiri and Lamjung Himal. Enjoy the tranquil lakeside ambiance and stay at Lakeside for a delightful experience. (Overnight at hotel).

The drive from Pokhara to Sikles is a scenic journey that typically takes around 4-5 hours, covering a distance of approximately 40 kilometers. The road winds through picturesque landscapes, including terraced fields, lush forests, and traditional villages. As you leave the city behind, the views of the Annapurna and Lamjung Himal ranges become increasingly prominent. The drive is partly on paved roads and partly on rougher, unpaved sections, especially as you approach Sikles. Despite the bumpy ride, the stunning scenery and the glimpse into rural life in Nepal make the journey enjoyable and a fitting start to the Kori-Kapuche Lake trek.

The trek from Sikles to Hugu Goth is a rewarding journey that typically takes around 5-6 hours covering the distance for 10 km, offering a mix of cultural and natural experiences. Starting from Sikles, a traditional Gurung village, the trail leads you through dense forests, where you will walk under the canopy of rhododendron and oak trees. As you ascend, the path offers occasional clearings with stunning views of the Annapurna and Lamjung Himal ranges. The trek is moderately challenging, with some steep sections, but the serene environment and fresh mountain air make it a pleasant experience. Along the way, you may encounter small streams and waterfalls, adding to the trek's charm. Hugu Goth, a high-altitude pasture, serves as a peaceful resting place, surrounded by pristine nature and offering panoramic mountain views. It's a perfect spot to relax and acclimate before continuing your journey towards Kapuche Lake.

The trek from Hugu Goth to Kapuche Lake and back is a day-long adventure that covers a distance of approximately 8-10 kilometers round trip. The trail from Hugu Goth to Kapuche Lake is relatively short but can be steep and challenging in parts, taking around 2-3 hours to reach the lake. As you ascend, the landscape becomes more rugged, with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers. Upon reaching Kapuche Lake, you will be rewarded with the sight of its crystal-clear, turquoise waters, set against a backdrop of towering mountains. The serene and untouched beauty of the lake makes it a perfect spot for rest and reflection. After spending some time at the lake, you will trek back to Hugu Goth, retracing your steps. The return journey typically takes another 2-3 hours, bringing you back to the peaceful high-altitude pasture of Hugu Goth to rest for the night

The trek from Hugu Goth to Kori Hill is a scenic and moderately challenging journey that takes about 5-6 hours, covering approximately 10-12 kilometers. The trail ascends gradually, taking you through alpine meadows, patches of dense forest, and open ridges with increasingly expansive views as you gain elevation. As you approach Kori Hill, the landscape becomes more dramatic, with sweeping panoramas of the Annapurna and Lamjung Himal ranges coming into full view. The final stretch to Kori Hill offers a sense of accomplishment as you reach this high-altitude pasture, known for its stunning scenery and tranquility. The views from Kori Hill are breathtaking, with vast, uninterrupted vistas of the surrounding peaks and valleys, making it a highlight of the trek.

The trek from Kori Hill back to Sikles is a descent that takes around 6-7 hours, covering a distance of approximately 15-17 kilometers. The trail gradually winds down from the high-altitude pasture of Kori Hill, offering spectacular views of the Annapurna and Lamjung Himal ranges as you descend. You will pass through alpine meadows, forests, and traditional villages, retracing part of your earlier route. The descent is generally easier than the ascent, though it can be steep in sections. As you approach Sikles, the landscape transitions back to terraced fields and the lush greenery typical of the lower altitudes. Reaching Sikles, you will find yourself back in the charming Gurung village, where you can rest and reflect on the diverse and beautiful landscapes you’ve experienced during the trek.

The drive from Sikles back to Pokhara typically takes around 4-5 hours, covering a distance of approximately 40 kilometers. The journey offers scenic views of the countryside, terraced fields, and lush landscapes as you make your way back to the city. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you can enjoy a leisurely day to relax and unwind after your trek. Pokhara offers a range of activities and attractions, including visiting Phewa Lake, exploring the Lakeside area, or enjoying a meal at one of the local restaurants. The city’s relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings provide a perfect setting to rest and reflect on your trekking experience.

The drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu typically takes around 7-8 hours, covering a distance of approximately 200 kilometers. The journey takes you through a mix of scenic hills, terraced fields, and river valleys, with some winding roads and occasional traffic. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can check in and relax after the long drive. The rest of the day is yours to unwind and perhaps explore the city at your leisure, enjoying the vibrant culture, historic sites, or simply resting before your next adventure.

It's your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu. We will make sure you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty time before your flight home. At this time, we will say our goodbyes and bid you farewell, armed with warm memories and gorgeous photos to show your loved ones.
