Tour Itinerary

Namaste & welcome to Mandala Holidays! Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a representative from Mandala Holidays. After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggage and look for our representative with a Mandala Holidays with Group leader's name display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to the Hotel. (Overnight at hotel).

Early in the morning you will be driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara via private vehicle(7-8 hours ). We will cover the total distance of 210km from Kathmandu to Pokhara along the snaky highway. On our way, we can see the picturesque Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers along green and Rocky Mountains, rivers connecting each other and small springs too. Nestled between Phewa and Begnas Lakes, Pokhara offers breathtaking views of Annapurna, Machapuchare, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Lamjung Himal. Enjoy the tranquil lakeside ambiance and stay at Lakeside for a delightful experience. (Overnight at Pokhara).

Our day begins with a briefing session in Pokhara followed by a scenic drive to Nayapool, where our trek commences. The trekking distance today covers 9.5 kilometers and takes approximately 4-5 hours. Alternatively, there is an option to drive directly to Tikhedhunga. Upon arrival, we start our trek towards Tikhedhunga, located at an altitude of 1,480 meters. This initial leg introduces trekkers to the picturesque surroundings and marks the start of our exploration into the region's diverse terrain. (Overnight at Tikhedhunga).

The fourth day involves trekking from Tikhedhunga, ascending to the higher elevation of Ghorepani at 2,874 meters. The trekking distance today will be 12.9 Kms which will take us around 6-7 hours. The trail offers diverse landscapes, from lush forests to occasional glimpses of mountain vistas. Ghorepani is a charming village nestled amidst in the hills, providing an ideal resting point before further exploration. (Overnight at Ghorepani).

The highlight of today is the hike from Ghorepani to Poon Hill at an elevation of 3,210 meters. This segment showcases breathtaking sunrise views over the Himalayas, offering a panoramic spectacle of peaks including Dhaulagiri, Machapuchhre and Annapurna range. Following this awe-inspiring experience, the trek continues to Tadapani at 2,630 meters, enveloped in serene forests and captivating scenery. The trekking distance today will be 11 Kms which will take us around 6-7 hours. (Overnight at Tadapani).

On our sixth day, the journey progresses from Tadapani to Ghandruk, a culturally rich village perched at an altitude of 1,950 meters. Ghandruk is renowned for its Gurung community, presenting opportunities to immerse in their traditions, visiting local museums, and relish the hospitality amidst in the Himalayan backdrop. Then after, we will drive towards Pokhara. The trekking today take us around 4-5 hours.  After reaching Pokhara, you have the evening all to yourself, and you're free to enjoy it however you wish. (Overnight at Pokhara).

Today marks your return journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu, a scenic drive that spans approximately 7-8 hours. As you traverse the winding roads, you will have ample time to reflect on the memories created during your time in Pokhara. It's a time to savor the final moments of your journey, reminiscing about the sights seen, the challenges overcome, and the bonds formed during your trip. (Overnight at Hotel).

It's your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu. We will make sure you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty time before your flight home. At this time, we will say our goodbyes and bid you farewell, armed with warm memories and gorgeous photos to show your loved ones.

1. Ruck sack bag with rain cover. 

2. Day Pack Bag – Recommended for treks with summit day

3. Head Torch with spare batteries. 

4. U V protection sunglasses. 

5. Water Bottles:  1 liter water bottle for each trekkers

FOOTWEAR

1. Non-skid, deep treaded, high-ankle trekking shoes 

2. Pair of lightweight Slipper/Sandals 

CLOTHING

1. Quick Dry Warm lower or Track Pants. 

2. Full sleeves T-shirts/ Sweatshirts. 

3. Pair of thick woolen socks. 1 pair for every two days of trekking

4. Thermal Body warmer Upper & Lower. 

5. Undergarments. Qty – 1 for every day of trekking

6. Warm jacket closed at wrist & neck.

7. Full sleeves sweater. 

8. Rainwear ( Jacket & Pants ).

9. Pair of waterproof, warm gloves.
