Tour Itinerary

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey. In the evening, you may take a leisurely walk around the vibrant streets of Kathmandu.

Today we will drive from your hotel to Bouddhanath Stupa, located on the eastern outskirts of the Kathmandu valley. This ancient stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and holds immense significance for Tibetan Buddhists. Boudhanath is a vibrant hub of Tibetan culture and Buddhism, surrounded by monasteries, Tibetan handicraft shops, and traditional Tibetan restaurants, creating a unique atmosphere. Afterward, we will move toward Pashupatinath, one of the holiest places for Hindus. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, this UNESCO World Heritage Site holds immense cultural and religious importance.

Finally, we will head toward Kathmandu Durbar Square, also known as Basantapur. It is located in the heart of Kathmandu city and is renowned for its bustling market and rich cultural heritage. Basantapur is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and serves as a focal point for both locals and tourists.

Today, you'll continue your visit to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Nepal. Bhaktapur boasts a unique charm that transports visitors back in time with its beautifully preserved courtyards, ancient temples, and traditional Newari architecture. As you stroll through the bustling squares and winding alleys, you’ll discover intricate wood carvings, pottery workshops, and vibrant local life that reflect the city’s rich cultural heritage. Then you'll head to Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and focal point of the city's architectural splendor. Patan is also famous for its traditional craftsmanship, particularly in metalwork and woodcarving. Then after we will move towards Swyambhunath, located atop of hill west of Kathmandu city. SWyambhunathn offers panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding Himalayan Range.

Today, you will be driving from Kathmandu to Chitwan. It’s a 5-6 hours long journey that takes you from the bustling capital city of Nepal through diverse landscapes to the lush plains of the Terai region where Chitwan National Park is located. Upon arrival in Chitwan, take some time to relax before immersing yourself in the Tharu Cultural Dance in the evening. The Tharu people, the indigenous community of Chitwan, they will showcase their unique traditions through rhythmic dances and folk music, offering an insightful glimpse into their rich cultural heritage.

Today is dedicated to exploring the rich biodiversity of Chitwan National Park. Begin your day with a serene Canoe ride along the Rapti River, where you can spot various bird species, marsh mugger crocodiles, and the rare gharial crocodiles basking on the riverbanks. Next visit the Elephant Breeding Centre, where you can learn about the conservation effort for these gentle giants and observe baby elephants interacting with their mothers. Continue to the Crocodile Breeding Centre, which plays a crucial role in the conservation of endangered gharial crocodiles, providing insight into their life cycle and habitat.

After lunch, set out for an exciting jungle safari by jeep. As you venture deep into the lush forest and grasslands of Chitwan National Park, keep an eye out for diverse wildlife, including the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, deer, wild boars, and if you are lucky, the rare Bengal Tiger.

After breakfast, you will begin your scenic drive from Chitwan to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours, passing through lush farmlands, small towns, and stretches of the Terai plains. Upon arrival in Lumbini, check-in at your hotel and take some time to relax. Later, you can enjoy a peaceful stroll around the serene monastic zones or visit the sacred Maya Devi Temple, marking the exact spot of Buddha’s birth.

Today will be your exploration day at Lumbini. You can visit the Maya Devi Temple, the Ashok Pillar, the World Peace Stupa, and many foreign-made monasteries. It has a long history related to Buddhism, and many records are still safely preserved in the museum. Kapilvastu is a place in Lumbini where Buddha was born around the 6th century B.C. and archaeological excavations are still ongoing in search of further facts and evidence. The Lumbini Garden, the Mayadevi Temple, the Pushkarni Pool, and various other temples built by the followers of Lord Buddha are the major attractions of the Lumbini excursion.

After breakfast, you will drive from Lumbini to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city renowned for its stunning mountain views and tranquil atmosphere. The drive takes around 6–7 hours, passing through picturesque countryside, terraced hills, and charming local villages along the Siddhartha Highway. En route, stop at Palpa for a delightful lunch, with time to admire the traditional architecture and vibrant culture of this historic hill town. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in at your hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening by the shores of Phewa Lake, soaking in the peaceful ambiance of this scenic town.

Today we will be visiting a popular tourist hotspot i.e. Davis Falls where the waterfall originates from the Phewa Lake and plunges into a deep gorge, creating a spectacular cascade of water that disappears into the underground tunnels and caves beneath the surface. The mystical Gupteshwor cave is a fascinating underground cave located near the popular tourist destination of Davis Fall in Pokhara. The tranquil Peace Stupa (World Peace Pagoda) offers you panoramic surrounding view and Phewa Lake, and the awe-inspiring Pumdikot-The Tallest Shiva Statue is a popular hill station offering panoramic view of Annapurna and Machhapuchre.

Today, early in the morning, we will drive towards Sarangkot for sunrise, offering spectacular views of the Annapurna mountain range. Then we will have breakfast in our hotel and get ready for the exploration waiting us ahead. 

We will also visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp, where you can learn about the rich culture and traditions of Tibetan refugees, explore their handicraft markets, and gain insight into their daily lives. Lastly, we will explore the International Mountain Museum, which showcases Nepal's mountaineering history, the diverse culture of Himalayan communities, and fascinating exhibits on the world’s highest peaks and legendary climbers.

We will start our day with boating in Phewa Lake and Tal Barahi Temple. It is a picturesque experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the natural beauty and cultural richness of the region. Then you will be returning back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. It will be a scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. You will return with lots of memories that you can cherish for a lifetime.

It's your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu. We'll make sure you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty of time before your flight home. At this time, we'll say our goodbyes and bid you farewell, armed with warm memories and gorgeous photos to show your loved ones.
