Tour Itinerary

Our representative will meet you at the arrival gate with a signboard for Mandala Holidays. Then you will be escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure and in the evening, our company representatives will visit you for the final briefing of the tour.

Today, you begin your visit to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples in the world. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, this revered UNESCO site holds deep religious and cultural significance, offering a glimpse into Nepal’s spiritual heritage. Next, you will head to Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism. This ancient stupa, surrounded by colorful prayer flags, monasteries, and Tibetan handicraft shops, creating a vibrant and peaceful ambiance. Then, you will move towards Swayambhunath. Located at top of hill west of Kathmandu city, Swayambhunath offers stunning panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding Himalayan range. At last, we will move towards Kathmandu Durbar Square, also known as Basantapur. Located in the heart of Kathmandu city, this historic square is known for its bustling market, ancient palaces, and rich cultural heritage. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Basantapur serves as a focal point for both locals and tourists.

After an early breakfast, you will set out on a scenic drive to the beautiful village of Tarkeghyang, nestled in the heart of the Helambu region. The drive offers picturesque views of terraced fields, traditional hamlets, and forested hills. Upon reaching Tarkeghyang, you will begin your hike toward the Ama Yangri Base Camp. The trail gradually ascends through rhododendron forests and serene alpine landscapes, with occasional glimpses of distant Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival at the base camp, you will settle in and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

Rise early for a hike to the summit of Ama Yangri Peak (3,771 meters), a sacred site offering one of the most stunning panoramic sunrise views in the Helambu region. As the first light touches the Himalayas, you will witness breathtaking vistas of peaks like Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and even distant views of Everest on a clear day. After spending some peaceful time at the summit—soaking in the spiritual ambiance and mountain serenity—you will begin your descent back to Tarkeghyang. The return journey follows the same scenic trail through dense forests and alpine terrain.

After breakfast, you will begin your return journey from the tranquil village of Tarkeghyang to Kathmandu. The scenic drive takes you through winding mountain roads, terraced hillsides, and charming rural settlements, offering one last glimpse of the serene Helambu region. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for relaxation or optional exploration around the city.

It's your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu. We'll make sure you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty time before your flight home.
