Today will be your rest day at Dingboche. You have gained a lot of height till this day and it’s important to allow your body to catch up. So perhaps a short walk in the direction of Island Peak base camp might be what you fancy or you can hike up to the Nankardzong peak from where you can get a glimpse of Cho La Lake, Ama Dablam Base Camp, Mount Makalu and its glacier, Island Peak and other beautiful peaks. After returning from the hike you will have your lunch and you can roam around the place for the rest of the day or take rest. (Overnight in Teahouse)

The landscape changes drastically and the wilderness grows to a more peaceful and magnificent one. You will walk through the trail that is filled with huge boulders and moraine. You will certainly feel the oxygen level going thinner and thinner as you trek further higher. Slowly but ultimately, you will make it to Lobuche. (Overnight in Teahouse).

Today is the most important day of the entire trek. You will be starting your trek early at 4 am as you will need to reach Base camp as early as possible since problems from high winds occur in the afternoon. It will take you around 3-4 hours to reach Gorakshep where you will have your Lunch and after that, you will carry on with your journey towards Everest Base Camp (5,364 m). You will climb a gradual rocky incline into the valley alongside the glacier, passing the first of the sacred lake. As you continue, you will reach the second lake and cross the path that leads to Cho La. The third lake, known as Dudh Pokhari, where you willl find the settlement of Gokyo. Strolling along the lake’s edge, you will be treated to breathtaking views, with the peaks of Cho Oyu and Gyachung Kang beautifully reflected in its emerald-green water.

After descending and having breakfast, continue your trek toward Renjo La Pass (5,360m). The ascent is steep but rewarding, with incredible mountain scenery.
