In the evening, our company representatives will visit you at your hotel to provide a comprehensive final briefing for your upcoming trek. This briefing will cover important details, answer any last-minute questions, and ensure you are well-prepared for the adventure ahead.

Today, you will board a short but thrilling flight to Lukla (2,840 m), the gateway to the Everest region. Upon arrival in Lukla, it is a 3-hour trek along the Dudh Kosi Valley. The trail, lined with blue pine forest, follows the river valley and is especially spectacular in spring when the rhododendron flowers are bright in bloom. Cross the Dudh Kosi River at Benkar, and look way up above 6,000 metres to see the peaks of snow-capped Kusum Kanguru (6369m) and Thamserku (6623m). Press on to Phakding (2610m) where you will rest for the night.

On this day, you will be starting your trek after breakfast continuing along the Dudh Koshi (river), you will enter Sagarmatha National Park (showing your entrance ticket and registering your Trek card). You will have your first altitude jump so you need to take it easy. The walk starts to get a little tougher, with a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar where you will get the first view of Mount Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse from Toph Danda. Your accommodation will be at Namche for the night.

Today is your acclimatization day at Namche, you will hike up to Syangboche Airport (3,748 m) and Hotel Everest View (3,880 m) from where you will get the view of Ama Dablam, Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse with some good Coffee. You can also visit the Sherpa Museum at Namche. Spend rest day of your day at Namche and acclimatize your body with proper rest.

After breakfast in Namche, the trail branches off from the classic Everest Base Camp route, heading north toward the Gokyo Valley. You’ll ascend gradually through rhododendron and juniper forests, passing by small Sherpa settlements such as Kyangjuma and Sanasa. The trail then climbs steadily to Mong La (3,975 m), offering spectacular views of Ama Dablam and the surrounding peaks. After a brief rest at the top, you'll descend to the Dudh Koshi River and then begin the final ascent through forested terrain to reach Dole. The scenery becomes increasingly alpine, with fewer trees and more expansive mountain vistas.

After a peaceful night in Dole, the trail continues to climb steadily along the Dudh Koshi River valley. You’ll pass through scenic alpine meadows and summer yak grazing settlements such as Lhafarma and Luza. The landscape becomes increasingly dramatic, with snow-capped peaks rising above the valley and fewer signs of dense vegetation. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Cho Oyu (8,188 m) and other surrounding Himalayan giants. The trek is moderate and relatively short, allowing time to acclimatize to the increasing altitude.
Arriving in Machhermo by early afternoon, you can rest, hydrate, and explore the small village.

After breakfast in Machhermo, you’ll begin a gradual ascent toward the stunning Gokyo Valley. The trail offers wide alpine views and gradually leads you past grazing pastures and rocky terrain alongside the Ngozumpa Glacier—the largest glacier in Nepal. As you approach Gokyo, you’ll pass a series of serene glacial lakes, each more striking than the last, with the third and largest, Dudh Pokhari, resting beside the quaint village of Gokyo (4,790 m). Surrounded by towering peaks and crystal-clear waters, Gokyo offers one of the most scenic and tranquil settings in the Everest region. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu, as well as the stunning Ngozumpa Glacier below. After enjoying the sunrise and capturing unforgettable moments, you’ll descend back to Gokyo for breakfast.

The trek from Gokyo to Dole is a beautiful descent that takes you through the heart of the Khumbu region’s alpine landscape. Starting from the serene Gokyo Valley, home to turquoise glacial lakes and majestic mountain views, you'll gradually descend alongside the Dudh Koshi River, retracing your steps through yak pastures and rocky trails. The hike offers stunning views of peaks like Cho Oyu, Thamserku, and Kangtega as you pass through charming Sherpa settlements and rhododendron forests (especially vibrant in spring). Though it’s mostly downhill, the trail can be steep and requires careful footing in some sections. Dole, your destination for the night, is a quiet mountain village perched on a ridge, offering a peaceful atmosphere and a perfect place to rest, surrounded by towering Himalayan giants.

After breakfast, you’ll begin your descent from Dole toward Namche Bazaar. The trail gradually leads you through alpine landscapes, yak pastures, and charming Sherpa settlements such as Luza and Mong La. Along the way, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of snow-capped peaks, cross suspension bridges, and pass through lush rhododendron and juniper forests. After a steady descent and a few ascents, you’ll finally reach the vibrant town of Namche Bazaar, where you can enjoy the comfort of warmer air, good food, and local shops.

After an early breakfast, you’ll begin the final leg of your trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. The trail descends steeply through pine and rhododendron forests, crossing several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. You’ll pass through familiar villages such as Monjo, Phakding, and Chheplung, soaking in the last glimpses of the Khumbu Valley and reflecting on your journey. Although mostly downhill, the trail includes a few short ascents and requires steady footing. Upon reaching Lukla, you’ll check into your teahouse and have the evening to relax and celebrate the completion of your memorable Himalayan adventure.

After breakfast, you will take a scenic flight from Lukla to Manthali Airport, offering one last glimpse of the majestic Himalayan peaks. Upon landing at Manthali, a comfortable drive of approximately 3-4 hours will bring you back to Kathmandu. Once in the city, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax or explore at your leisure.

It's your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu.
