Everest Family Trek is a specially curated trekking experience designed for families who want to enjoy the majestic beauty of the Everest region in a more relaxed and child-friendly way. Unlike the more strenuous routes that lead to Everest Base Camp, this trek focuses on lower altitude trails that offer stunning views of Everest and neighboring peaks without the risks of high-altitude trekking. Tour Itinerary

Our representative will meet at the arrival gate with a signboard for Mandala Holidays. Then you will be escorted to your selected hotel. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure and in the evening, our company representatives will visit you for the final briefing of the trek.

Today you will have to check out early and our representative will escort you to Ramechaap (Manthali Airport) for your flight to Lukla. The drive will take you around 3-4 hours and it will be a 20-25 minute flight more like a mountain flight with a view of many mesmerizing mountains. Upon arrival in Lukla, it is a 3-hour trek along the Dudh Kosi Valley. The trail lined with blue pine forest and is especially spectacular in spring when the rhododendron flowers are bright in bloom. Cross the Dudh Kosi River at Benkar, and look way up above 6,000 metres to see the peaks of snow-capped Kusum Kanguru (6369m) and Thamserku (6623m). Reach Phakding (2610m) for a well-deserved rest. (Overnight at Teahouse).

On this day, you will be starting your trek after breakfast continuing along the Dudh Koshi (river), you will enter Sagarmatha National Park (showing your entrance ticket and registering your Trek card). You will have your first altitude jump so you need to take it easy. The walk starts to get a little tougher, with a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar where you will get the first view of Mount Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse. Your accommodation will be at Namche for the night, rest and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. (Overnight at Teahouse).

After breakfast in Namche Bazaar, begin a gradual ascent toward Syangboche, a scenic ridge above Namche. The hike takes around 2–3 hours, offering panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and other Himalayan giants. You’ll pass by Syangboche Airport, one of the highest airstrips in the world, before reaching the iconic Hotel Everest View (3,880m). Renowned for its stunning vistas and serene atmosphere, this is a perfect place to relax and acclimatize while enjoying luxury in the mountains. Spend the rest of the day soaking in the views and exploring the surrounding trails. Overnight at Hotel Everest View.

After a serene morning at Hotel Everest View, begin your descent from Syangboche back toward the Dudh Koshi Valley. The trail retraces your steps through Namche Bazaar, where you can take a short break or do some last-minute shopping. From Namche, the trail descends steeply through pine forests and crosses several suspension bridges over the river. Passing Jorsalle and enjoying the natural surroundings, you’ll eventually reach Monjo, a peaceful village located just outside the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. Overnight stay at a teahouse in Monjo.

Today marks the final day of your trek in the Everest region. After breakfast in Monjo, begin your descent along the Dudh Koshi River, retracing the trail through familiar villages like Phakding and Ghat. Enjoy the lush scenery, suspension bridges, and final glimpses of mountain life. The path includes both ascents and descents before reaching Lukla. Upon arrival, take time to relax and reflect on your journey, celebrating the completion of an unforgettable Himalayan adventure. Overnight stay in Lukla.

After breakfast, you will be getting ready for your flight towards Ramechaap. You can bid your final farewell to the Khumbu region. After finishing the departure formalities you will board the flight. The flight will take you to Ramechaap in 20-25 minutes. Upon reaching Ramechaap you will be escorted to Kathmandu via private transfer. Relax at your hotel, and in the evening, enjoy a Farewell Gala Dinner at a Nepali restaurant. (Overnight at Hotel).

It's your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu. We'll make sure you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty time before your flight home. At this time, we'll say our goodbyes and bid you farewell, armed with warm memories and gorgeous photos to show your loved ones.
